Since the dogs (actually just Jaxon) are having a hard time adjusting to Carter, we decided to put Carter in his crib in his room right away instead of keeping him with us in our room. It worked out well. The dogs were able to relax and so were we (with one eye open and the monitor on full blast). We shared duty and took turns getting up to change and feed Carter. He slept really good and even through a thunderstorm. He is a little Houdini though and kept sneaking his arms out of his swaddle blanket. We’ll figure it out! Hopefully night two is just as successful!
